Fabric & Construction Notes
Fabric choice is critical — this sleeve pattern cannot be made with just any fabric. Lightweight to medium-weight fabrics that support gathering without excessive bulk work best. Heavier or stiffer fabrics may be used, but gathering will become more difficult. When working with heavier fabrics, pleating the gathered edge instead of gathering may produce better results. This pattern is designed to be cut on-grain and requires confidence with gathering techniques.

● A0 Version: Ask for an architectural print or use a blueprint printer at your local print shop. The file is already sized — just provide the file and they can print it for you.

● Printer Version: Print at home or at any print shop. This version will be 10 pages that need to be taped together. When taping, make sure all outlines of the sleeve connect properly — there will be noticeable overlap on the pages.
